When I turn my Mac mini 2018 on it doesn't recognize my Logitech wireless keyboard. I have to use a seperate wired keyboard. Once I log in then it recognizes the Logitech. How do I get my Mac to automatically recognize my wireless keyboard?/

Hmm... what other drives and devices are connected to the 2018 Mac mini..?
Is the Logitech USB receiver plugged into the Mac mini or into a Hub or dock..?
Maybe try rearranging the way that USB devices are plugged into the 2018 Mac Mini.
For example: try moving the Logitech USB receiver onto to a USB-C to USB-A adapter.
What model is the Logitech wireless keyboard..?
Are you using a Logitech USB receiver with that keyboard..?
You did not mention if the wireless Logitech was USB or bluetooth ?
You should not have to reset the connection with a wired keyboard either way. If Bluetooth, do you see it in the bluetooth ''My devices'' ? It should automatically connect. If not, select ''forget this device'' then reconnect and see if problem persists when you log-on next time.
That keyboard appears to be able to connect either USB or Bluetooth. In my sense, you should try to use it as Bluetooth - with an additional advantage that you will free up a USB port. See my other message to troubleshoot Bluetooth connection.
Also, as this is a 3-devices keyboard, are you using it on other devices ? Maybe obvious, but make sure it is set to the mac mini (the yellow buttons 1-2-3 top left) when you boot the mini.
I have 3 of these keyboars and use one with mac, win machine and Apple TV - just make sure to turn to proper device.
I have 2 Logitech k780 keyboards. I also have 2 Mac minis. My m2 Mac mini recognizes my keyboard instantly. My 2018 does not recognize at startup. Each macmini has its own separate keyboard. Why is it working on one and not the other? Thank you for responding to me.
Logitech k780. I have a USB toggle connected. On my Mac mini m2 it recognizes the keyboard automatically. On my 2018 Mac mini it doesn't.
