Apple Pay refund

I bought something using Apple Pay and they said I was going to get a refund. It has been over a week and I still have not received this refund. I contacted the merchant and they said it was an issue on Apple Pay and not their end.

Sounds like an excuse the merchant is giving you to delay any refund. The refunds do not go to Apple Pay, they go to the card that was used for the payment. Ask the retailer for the ARN (Acquirer Reference Number) for the return, then contact the bank that issued the card that you used to see if they have any information about the return. They know exactly what an ARN number is, as does your bank, you can find out more information here:
