I have made a purchase on online store, but it seems from their instagram that they are not sending any orders yet they accept the money, I made the payment via Apple Pay and want to request a refund, how do I do that?

That’s basically all you can do. Many people are under the assumption that Apple approves and pays merchants. Apple can’t do that. All Apple does, is in a very secure manner, transmit data between merchant and the card issuer (bank). The bank approved the transaction and any refund or compensation will come from the bank or Mastercard, Visa, Am/Ex etc. All the major networks offer fraud protection etc. However, fraud may be difficult to prove if the merchant filed bankruptcy.

Please contact the merchant and request a refund. The funds are sent directly to your payment method (bank credit or debit card) used to complete the transaction. If the merchant refuses to refund file a dispute with the bank that issued the payment method used.

Thank you for your answer, the merchant is not responsive and he seems to have filed for insolvency earlier this month.
I have contacted the lawyer responsible for administrating the company, and filed a chargeback through my Bank. I hope this will be sufficient to get back my money.
If you gave them your iPhone and passcode that would be all the authorization they need.
Where did the funds come from, what bank? The bank approved the $375 charge and transferred the funds. Have you talked to the fraud team at the bank?
In 2022 I got scammed and sent money to these phone numbers not in my contacts. I need some help on how to report fraud with Apple Pay and get this money back…
