MLS Season Pass judder after updating to tvOS 18

I've been unable to watch MLS Season Pass games in the Apple TV app on my Apple TV 4K without severe judder ever since I updated to tvOS 18 a couple weeks ago. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app, as well as restarting my device multiple times. Every now and again the stream will work just fine for ~10 minutes after a restart, but inevitably it degrades over time and gets unwatchable with severe judder.

None of my settings ever changed on my Apple TV 4K, and I was able to watch every game in 4K with no issues and without this judder ever happening before I updated to tvOS 18. I can watch the same games on my iPhone or iPad with no issues as well.

Has anyone else run into this problem since updating? I saw some people in a different thread here had run into this problem in the past, but this isn't something I ever had to deal with before tvOS 18, so I thought there might be some sort of issue with the latest update (since nothing else in my setup has changed).
