iPhone won't connect to Comcast email after iOS 18 Update

Me too. Both iphone and mac unable to connect to the comcast server since the OS upgrades.

Looking at the Comcast site which you should do you might find the answers you are look for there.

Definitely the Mail app - as a workaround I installed the GMail app from the App Store - Comcast works fine on iOS 18 with the Gmail app

Same here, I just upgraded and my Comcast stopped working in the mail app.

Email is disabled

Third Party Access Security is checked, so that's not the problem for me. Can't use Comcast on any of my apple products

Thank you! I forgot I got the Blacklisted IP notification also while visiting my grandkids in TN. I’ll mention that to Xfinity tech support when the third level calls me back in a “few days” 🤦🏻‍♀️

I checked this and that box was already checked in my settings. I still cannot get my comcast email on my iPhone.

I have an iphone13 and I have been having this problem for years.

I called the 2nd level service phone 888-565-4389 and found very helpful folks. Kind of amazing, but most welcome. The upshot is that after removing and replacing this account several times, hearing that my "IP was blacklisted" and other reasons, I finally found a tech that admitted the problems all began on some phones and ipads when they installed ios 18. This happened on my ipad and iphone. Not on my wife's ipad. She is fine.

Probably something in the Mail program and not on all phones.

Would like Apple to resolve this. Hope 18.1 does this for those affected.

In the meantime I have my email that comes to comcast.net forwarded to my gmail address! Not a bad workaround.

I had the exact same issue so I called Apple and they told me to delete the Mail app and then add it again and after that it worked fine except for one issue. When I open Mail it sometimes takes a really long time to download the messages. Sometimes as long as 20 minutes, other times it’s as fast as usual.

Found this on the internet - it worked. It has nothing to do with VPN. you have to log in to xfinity email via web, then click gear/settings in upper right and under email settings click on Security, then check the box 'Third Party Access Security'. Go back to your iphone mail app and add account - connected right away - no issues!!!
