iPhone won't connect to Comcast email after iOS 18 Update

I am also having the same issue, I am unable to to receive my Comcast emails. I have tried removing and adding back and I get the message …currently unavailable but I can go to the web and my email is working fine. This issue only started after updating to the iOS18 version.

I am now connected to Comcast email on ios18.0.1. Must have been fixed by one party or the other (Xfinity or Apple) with no notice. It just works now.

I have had this mystery with Comcast before. It pays to call 2nd level service and pass on the problem. Somehow it makes its way to tech support and eventually gets fixed. Those first few days when email won't connect won't make me change my email password ever again! Just report and wait.

I was always able to read my email on the Xfinity web site but just don't expect this hassle. Need to remember to just wait!

After installing IOS 18.0.1 My Comcast email no longer works. Repeatedly ask for password even though password is already in the mail app setting. Says that IP address has been temporarily blocked as it is Blacklisted.

My email was fine until I applied this update. Please advise on how Apple is going to provide work around

Same issue, although mine didn't start until the 18.1 update. Get log in error and details say IP temporarily blacklisted. I can log in via xfinity web, but even the xFinity app e-mail option doesn't work, so not entirely sure it's an Apple issue. Seems more like an xFinity issue with compatibility with Apple's latest ios 18x updated.

I am having the same problem. I've contacted Comcast (Xfinity), Apple, and Microsoft about not being able to add my Comcast email to either Outlook or the iPhone mail app. I finally got it to add on my Mac Mini, but not from any tech help. I would appreciate getting some sound advice here on how to get mail back on my iPhone 15ProMax!

Same issue here- iPhone 15 - just upgraded to iOS 18 - it actually seems to connect once each time after closing and re-opening mail - but then just hangs - Mac is fine

Me too. Comcast email is working on my iPhone but not my iPad after the 18.1.1 update.

Comcast requires you to change your password every year. But they do not notify you. So login to your email via the internet and you will be prompted to reset your password.
