Hello, every time I try to add my RSS feed to Apple podcasts show, it comes up the same message 'unknown error'
I have already changed my show icon from png to jpeg but still no luck.
No problem adding to Spotify or Amazon so far.
Any help would be appreciated,

I also managed to add it it to Youtube as well so it seems that the problem may well lie with Apple which is a pity because I heard that Apple was the most important of the podcast platforms.

The main issue is that your image is 3.4MB: it must be less than 500kB. Its dimensions are OK.
Strictly speaking, your 'itunes:explicit' tag should contain 'false' rather than 'no' - I"m not sure whether this would trigger a rejection but it seems likely.
Though not a feed issue one of the validators reports that your media files are not CBR (constant bit rate) - CBR is definitely preferable but I'm not sure whether it would trigger a rejection. If clearing the other two issues don't solve the problem you may want to remake your media files.

I have already reduced the size but I understand that I would have to reduce it even more.
I appreciate you taking the time to give me this insight.
It seems unnecessarily complicated, especially when you consider that I had no problems adding my podcast to Spotify, Amazon and Youtube.
Anyway, I shall attempt to remedy this next week when I am in the right frame of mind to spend more time on this.

right, I mustered up enough time and patience to try again. I reduced the photo size to 450KB but Apple Connect still won't accept my podcast.
This is the exact message that I receive: An unknown error was encountered.
Getting my head around CBR, iTunes:explicit and heaven forbid, the need to remake my media files are for next week, if at all.
Please post the URL of your feed. Without that there is no way of even attempting to identify your problem.
