Most of my podcasts are giving this error. This Apple podcast episode is temporarily unavailable. Did not resolve after I closed all the apps and restarted then installed latest software updates Anyone have a solution?

Have you resolved this issue? I am also dealing with this. Deleted app, rebooted iphone, unfollowed all my podcasts/refollowed, deleted all downloads and so on... super frustrating. The issue isn't only with apple though: iheart, audible, spotify are doing this too. The odd thing is I can read the show transcript but not listen to it.
Turned off my VPN and the problem went away.
This might be the case if it were only one podcast, but OP (and many of us having this issue) is having the problem across multiple podcasts. It seems unlikely to me that dozens of podcasts would suddenly start deleting all their content at the same time.
I am not on VPN, I use the iPAD as my podcasst player. It stopped downloading, so I reset the iPad, and trying to get it set up again. I keep getting episode is temporarily not available, but then I can download it on another device. And play it there.
ANY Help would be nice. I have rebooted it, still nothing. After a reboot it takes a while to get the podcast app to open, it shuts itself down.

The only thing I can think of is that the creator has removed their episode from all platforms. I suggest contacting them about this.
