iphone 15 pro max updated to ios 18 = no issue with receiving any and all app notifications. Activated iphone 16 pro max, transferred data and settings and then updated to ios 18. Notifications from apps are no longer appearing from any app. Is this a temporary glitch to be fixed in next ios update?

Same exact process. Was on an iPhone 15 Pro Max upgraded to iPhone 16 Pro Max and only my Stand Notification stopped working. They don't work on watch nor phone :( All other notification are working fine.
I am still not getting any email notifications “pushed or fetched” automatically. When I open my stock ios mail app it will then fetch the emails. Prior to updating to IOS 18 and subsequently IOS 18.0.1, I would routinely get email notifications on my AOD and Lock Screen, now I don’t. I do get notifications on AOD, such as text messages and meesages from the phone app and for example Nest Home cameras notifications, so in my case it appears to be only related to the mail app. I have removed my mail account, hard reset the phone, then reinstalled my mail account, all to no avail. Very frustrating….
After my initial posting on this issue (September 16th) most (but not all app) notifications have slowly and gradually migrated back to working. I don't know if it is related to subsequent ios update or some other mechanism. It just seems random that some are now working, and others still have not returned to working order. A mystery.

I have iphone13 pro max and I'm missing all my notification related to meetings, time sensitive text messages and emails. How does Apple let this happen?????????? Where is the fix?!?!?!?!
