Apple Podcasts app not cleaning properly

It’s been 3 years now and no one seems to be addressing the issue or even wanting to take a look at it. Since a 2021 update, deleting downloaded podcasts no longer cleans the app, it stays however heavy it was. For example I have 1 episode of 42 mb but still 4gb of documents and data. Scince there is no way to clean this my only option is to delete podcasts and use some other app instead. Big mistake on your behalf not to address this, it’s been 3 years now.

But you guys sell phones now, not the software that comes with it. I guess Bill was right in a way…
