iOS 18 Bluetooth Connection problems

Is anyone experiencing Bluetooth problems like me? After some time, connected devices like Apple Watch disconnects and connects every minute, and new devices that should connect like CarPlay don't even connect. I got this also during beta and tried disconnects and repair, network settings reset and reinstalling from iCloud Backup. Nothing worked, only doing a hard reboot. Then it works for half a day until the bug strikes again. Very annoying....

bluetooth issues - severe. BMW can speak but others can’t hear me. I can hear them. General Bluetooth issues with Apple AirPods, low quality. Death zones in house were I don’t have connectivity. I had an iPhone 14 Pro and everything worked fine. Since the switch only troubles. Tried al solutions mentioned. No progres. Anyone else a suggestion?

I had the same issues on iOS 18.1.

Vocal Shortcuts was off already.

Restarting, even hard reset did nothing.

for me the issue is what iOS 18 is doing (or not doing) during Bluetooth discovery.

what worked for me, if you have a device which does not show in the device list:

Power down the Bluetooth device

Turn off Bluetooth on your iPhone for about 15 seconds

Turn Bluetooth on, again.

Bring the device close to your iPhone

Power on the Bluetooth device.

if you don't see it in the device list, force the device into pairing mode. (This usually involves holding one or more buttons for several seconds. You may need to check your user manual or device's support web site to find the method.)

When the device is forced into pairing, it will show on your iPhone Bluetooth devices list and can then be paired.

This problem also has appeared on my iPad Air 5th since mid-November 2024, a few weeks after I updated 18.1. I’m not very sure that the main reason for this is the software update. My situation is, Bluetooth earphones become unsynchronized between the left and right one almost every minute, and then become totally silent for a few seconds. My Bluetooth mouse is also laggy when it happens.

Very annoying. I tried to disconnect my nearby phone from my Windows laptop, turn off Networking option in the location setting, and tried multiple times to connect and disconnect my earphones manually, but they didn't help.
