Since updating this morning when I move windows around on my cinematic display they JUMP to full screen if I even get close to the top of the screen. How do I make this STOP!

THIS IS KILLING ME. I rely on using Option+Left/Right Arrow to jump between words when editing text, e.g. in Safari, Finder, or any app, but NOW ALL THE APPS HAVE REMAPPED THIS TO WINDOW RESIZING!!!!!!
This function NEEDS TO BE KILLED IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise I'm at risk of switching back to my MacBook 2016 lol.

Those aren’t the shortcuts for window tiling.

This is a question many folks seem to be asking WITH NO WAY TO FIX IT since the 'fixes' don't work!
I already disabled "Drag windows to screen edges to tile" and "Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen" ... then restarted my computer, but it still resizes my documents upon opening them.
Disable the Tiling options in System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Windows.
I'm looking at a variety of settings - which one will make the automatic sizing to full screen when I drag a window to the top of the screen?

Thanks, holding the Option key while hovering over the green button gives me a variety of options to resize the window. I'd still like to stop this new auto sizing.
Try Settings > Desktop & Dock > Double-click a window's title bar to > Do nothing

Me too! I hate this. I work on an iMac all day and am now wasting time to resize windows when I only intended to relocate them. This should be automatically off.

thanks. this was driving me absolutely batty.
That doesn't turn off tiling. It's a bug in Sequoia that I (and probably many others) have reported via Feedback Assistant. 3 Sequoia updates later, it's still not fixed.
Seems to work for others and myself.
