There's a bug that's causing the displayed photos in a Photos slideshow to be zoomed in so that I'm unable to view each entire photo in the slideshow. This is using the Play Slideshow button within a Folder. Plus, the duration each photo is displayed varies instead of being, say, 3 seconds for each photo.
Sequoia lost the ability and convenience of the Slideshow button within an album to play all the photos and videos within that album. Instead, it runs a short messy "memories" sampling and quickly stops. The INCONVENIENT workaround that "dinosaur" mentions does work, but this bug needs to be fixed by Apple.

I also don't get what happened to the "Play Slideshow" function in Photos...
I can't chose standard themes anymore (e.g. Vintage Prints, Sliding Pannels, Origami etc.). Theme music not available either.
Finally, the Photo app does not record my previous settings.
Apple, please bring ithe old "Play Slideshow" back!!

We are not Apple here. People here are users like you. I agree that the new "Play Slideshow," which used to provide me with a simple and handy overview of a set of pictures, no longer works to provide a simple and handy overview. I am disappointed, and, as Keith Barkley suggested at the beginning of this thread, I left feedback here:
You should, too. That will have a much greater impact on Apple than saying the same thing over and over here.

Problem with Apple Photo. Plays slides fine but freezes on the videos after Export.
Have tried taking video out and importing it back in again but this does not cure the problem. Any ideas?
