Upgraded my Mac to Sequoia and I am perplexed that I can't find out how to play a slideshow from Photos using the various slideshow themes such as Ken Burns, etc or even change basic slideshow settings. Am I missing something? Apple couldn't have removed this ability.

I had the same "how to" issue. I created an Album for 18 images, and can do a slideshow, but can't edit the music or transition. I then selected that Album and selected "Create", "Slideshow", "Photos". The new file (slideshow) is under "Projects". I can now see the slideshow options on the right.
