It worked for both my Ipad and iPhone but not the Mac. What could be the reason for this?

But i had it on my phone and it was working but now with the ne update it went a way not happy at all
AI is only in Sequoia 15.1 which has not been released yet.
When will the Apple Intelligence update be released? It said it would be released in early October, but it's October 21, and I still can't find it. Please let me know if anyone knows when it's released or how to get it.
Apple Intelligence for any Apple operating system will not arrive until sometime in October.
Apple Intelligence comes to iPhone, iPad, and Mac starting next month - Apple
First, you have to have an Apple Silicon Mac. Second, AI won't be available to EU countries until next year for iPhones and iPads.
IDK about mac, i'm working so i cant update now, but for iPhone 18.1 does NOT give you AAI. You have to go into settings and select "Join Waitlist" which is disturbing since 18.1 was the promised date of AAI. Based on the written included features in the update 18.1 right now essentially does nothing.
It turns out that Apple Intelligence is only available for MacBooks with an M1 processor or above. Furthermore, to receive the beta version (but hopefully not the full version) you need to set your device language and Siri's language to English (US) which can be found in System Settings under Language and Location and Apple Intelligence & Siri in the main menu.
This is the information that is needed to determine eligibility and for those in this thread was the reason why they don't have the feature, so without knowing that, we would not be able to determine why you do not have it.

If you had iOS v15.1 beta, it might have featured Apple Intelligence, but it is not in the shipping iOS v18.0, or v18.0.1.
FWIW, it takes a few minutes after signing in to the wait list to get AI.

Sounds like your Mac was intended for China distribution so that is the expected behavior. Makes no difference the Region/Language on those devices. With the appropriate Mac and Language/Region, you will have the option a shown here:
