Since upgrading to iOS 18, it does not seem there is a way to paste text when copied elsewhere into a new iMessage. Any suggestions?
I only get autofill and text effects as options. No option to paste. (Paste also isn’t within either of those options)

I can paste into just about everything else. I tried a number of other apps to see if that was the case. I don't get paste as an option.
I have. No luck.

nothing has change with copy and paste, it is the same method as before. Hold down on said text - copy and then hold down on message box and paste.
If you're seeing Autofill but not Paste, it sounds like you didn't actually copy anything to paste.
Have you restarted your phone since you did the update? If not, try that.
