Apple Watch 8 suddenly draining rapidly

My Apple Watch 8, which is only about a year and a half old and still has 90% battery health, has suddenly started draining very rapidly at a rate of about 10% per hour. Has anyone anyone else had this problem recently? I’m wondering if it’s related to a software update or something like that
