What did the Apple authorized service shop say when you took the phone into them?

A possible option.......If you bought directly from Apple, you have 14 days from the purchase date to return the phone for a full refund.

My daughter’s had her iPhone 15 since Christmas with no issues. Beginning Saturday, 8/24, until present, it has kept shutting off & on with message, “The battery for this iPhone is not recognized. An apple authorized service provider can repair or replace the battery to restore full functionality.”

Had the same issue, was phone less for a month procrastinating to go to an Apple Store because of how limited they are. Updated to iOS 17 and it fixed it. Now on iOS 18
