Siri does not work anymore with whats app. I can no longer sending message to my contacts by useing Siri.
Siri says: Hmmm it looks like …(name of contact) is not useing whatsapp.
Tell your friend to say the word Mobile after the name. For me it solved the problem.
But a bug fix is nesseray to get it working normal again.

Siri no longer works with WhatsApp. I can no longer send messages to my contacts using Siri. Siri says: “Hmm, it looks like [contact name] is not using WhatsApp.”
This isn’t a big problem for me, but it is for a blind friend of mine. He can’t send messages using Siri and WhatsApp anymore.
The strange thing is that the problem started on his iPhone SE (third edition) and a few days later on my iPhone 13 and my kids’ iPhones (XS). It seems to be a software issue after an update from WhatsApp or Apple.
Can someone help me?
This happened to me after I got a new cell phone number. May have something to do with that. What worked for me:
