images not loading in mail
for me I also had to untick the "Hide IP Address" in Mail/Preferences/Privacy besides the "Protect Mail Activity" and "Block All Remote Content".
I'm still using macOS Monterey (12.7.5) with Mail (16.0)

Whoot, thanks... I wonder if the remote place is checking for IP before sending?
I unticked everything, restarted, it didn't help, still no images loaded.
THEN I put everything back the way it was (I like my privacy) and rebuilt the mailbox.
Mailbox --> Rebuild
SHAZAAM! Images are now loading.

I've had the same issue since Jul 25, on multiple Macs (macOS Sonoma 14.5) and on my iPhone (iOS 17.5.1), and on multiple networks (home WiFi and cell phone data). I suspect it's an iCloud back-end issue.
And you're saying that fixed it?
