External hard drives are disconnecting

I am running Ventura 13.6.7 on a 2017 iMac. The disconnection started this week and it’s multiple times a day. When I put it to sleep, in the morning I have restart to get rid of all the notifications. I replaced my non-powered usb hub with a powered one, thinking it was failing and that didn’t help. I cleaned out my enclosure and all the bays and it’s still happening. Now I’m thinking my enclosure is failing. I haven’t tried replacing the cable, but does anyone have an idea of what caused this sudden issue.
