I’ve checked other posts and there doesn’t seem to be a solution? Tags work for iCloud files but not Google Drive. It’s actually never worked for me but never got around to posting.

Sorry for the synonymous misread. Android devices down have Administrator accounts. That put aside, update your iPhone to the latest update, and perform a restart. Also, create a file with a tag on a Mac, and the upload it, seeing if that is of any success? You might want to uninstall any Google apps on your iPhone, and then redownload them. I'd suggest getting them from Google, rather than the App Store.

I appears you can't. You can only do so on an Android device and a computer Go here: Apply labels to files in Google Drive | Google Help
Cheers although I’ve already got the latest iOS version and there’s no way to reinstall them other than on the App Store. That being said if the options not even available on my laptop there’s another reason why I can’t add labels.
