White Screen — Iphone 13 Pro Max

After I updated my phone to ios 16, a few days later my phone started flickering then turned all white (this happened last august 2023). I did my research and found out it is a common issue to Iphone 13 models and if you raise this concern to any apple support, they will replace it since it’s a hardware failure WHICH MEANS not the consumer’s fault. That’s not the case with mine because after I went to an apple service provider, all they said is that I should talk with apple support to consider my phone for replacement even though my phone is still under warranty. This enraged me because I know for a fact that this is a common issue and my phone is just 8 months old but I still decided to contact apple support and fortunately, they said that I can tell to the service provider here that they should fix my phone and I won’t pay anything. I did that but still, got nothing.

NOW, my phone is just inside my drawer, rotting. I do not have enough money to replace the lcd (it costs around PHP25,000). This is so unfair for me, I upgraded from the veryyyy old model and to a latest one and look what it got me.

It's not always the iOS update's fault!  Many things can cause phone problems.  If you tell people you think it's an iOS update, it might make it harder to fix or find a solution for the real issue.

Remember, the right question often leads to the solution! Please look in the right direction.

iOS updates aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. The majority of the issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors. This could be a pure coincidence that the iOS update affected the iPhone functions.

Before initiating a standard iOS update, it's advisable to create a backup. Have you completed this step? If yes, proceed with the restoration from the backup.
