visual lookup stopped working

Visual lookup in the photos app used to work on my iPhone and iPad, both running ios 17.5. I used to be able to identify plants using this feature on both devices. Today it does not work.

The current iOS and iPadOS versions are both 17.5.1.

Visual look up quit working when I updated to 17.5.1

same for me. Was working yesterday, but after the update to 17.5.1 using the exact same photos Visual Look Up no longer works. The photos never highlight.
