how to stop emails that say they are from me but are not

I am getting x rated phishing emails, and when I check the address, it says it is from me, but I have no way to see who it is actually sending it. I don't think I can block it, as then I would be blocking myself. Any ideas?

Yep, just delete and move on with your day. They are spoofing your email address to make you think they have access to your account. This is common when sending any Spam emails. It is possible to block based on a word in the content, such as "pervert" in the latest email scam, but usually just deleting will work as long as you don't respond to anything they want you to do. Once you start interacting with the scammers, you will continue to get more of these emails.
