scam email addresssed to me by me
I get unsolicited emails but cannot block as the sending address states my email address as the sender.

There is not much you can do. Crooks buy or steal email addresses so they can send spam using a legit address. I finally changed my email address when it became too annoying. Use an extremely difficult password - too late for the current account since they already have the address.
