I bought 4 iPhones at a yardsale a while ago, and I fixed them. When I was about to set them up, 3 of the phones had activation lock. I tried everything, but I couldn't contact the original owner of the phones. I don't have the papers of the original purchase or anything, just the three phones (iPhone 5, iPhone SE, iPhone 8). What can I do?
Nothing. They are useless without the original owners credentials. Don't fall for any of the stupid scams that claim they can unlock the device. They will take your money, but you will still have a device you cannot use.
