Speakers Popping In Safari - MacBook Air 13" (M2, 2022)

For the time I have owned this device, I have had one constant irritation. Whenever I watch media on Safari on my MacBook, there is a popping noise in the speakers every few seconds (5-15 second intervals). I tested across other apps, other browsers, and other forms of media (video, music, podcasts, etc.) and found that it was only on Safari that this occurs. I figured at the time that since it seemed to be a software issue, future updates would resolve the problem.

I started on Ventura 13.4 (I think) and now I am almost a full years worth of software updates later (now on Sonoma 14.4) and this issue still persists. I also had to reset the device once when I had it, and it didn't resolve the problem.

I am also facing this problem on 13" M2 MacBook Air. I did not have the problem in first year of ownership. For me it seems to have started around time of 14.4 or 14.5 update.
