so when I play videos on Safari (YouTube, Netflix, etc) there is this constant static/clicking noise from the speaker. I have Chrome, tor, and Opera, and none of those browsers make the same noises. I've seen some old conversations from 2013, but obviously, that's way too outdated. I'm hoping someone could help me, thanks!

Yep, same here, it's a Safari issue, i had it for years and swapped back to Safari went it was fixed, but it's here again since 14.5 ...

I have also had this issue as of about a week ago now. Other browsers seem to be fine so this seems to be a safari issue?
Did anyone find a solution ? I've been struggling with this. I usually have to turn my Mac off and on again for it to disappear but it's only gone for a few hours before coming back. I don't have the clicking noise on Chrome.
I too had that problem. Thought it was due to a driver issue or safari addons. Haven't found a solution yet.
