Storage space full, even though it’s not

Looking at storage under settings, it shows my wife’s account at 193GB under the application tab. Opening finder, then the tabs under to get to the files and then running file size calculator, it shows 193GB. When I open the main file that says 193 GB, none of the folders under it, show anything above 1.78GB. Only the main folder for her account shows 193GB. I need this fixed, because the system thinks the storage is full and I can do ANYTHING because “the storage is full”.
