2024 Lincoln Nautilus built-in wireless charging pad not working

I have a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus with the built-in Qi wireless charging pad for smart phones (picture below in front of the cup holders). My iPhone 15 Pro Max will not charge. It begins charging but stops. I have taken it out of the thin Spigen MagSafe case I have but that didn't work. I'm curious if anyone has a solution to this issue. Would adding a MagSafe ring to the charger would help (photo attached).

For context, I've read where this is an issue in Lexus vehicles as well.

Thanks!

Took the vehicle to the dealership. The vehicle charging pad was bad.

I am having the exact same issue. The status indicator shows charging. The phone will get hot and doesn’t charge. Dealer said it works if the green indicator light is on, still won’t charge. It’s definitely not the phone because my phone charges on other magnetic chargers. I was unable to find if the charger could be switched from android to iPhone under the vehicle settings. No luck.
