For some reason, i'm missing the GIF option on Instagram? My friend has it still on her android phone so I'm wondering if it's an IOS problem? I have the latest version of Instagram and I had the option for GIFs yesterday. Any ideas?

I have this problem too on my iPhone 15 with the latest instagram version, on my iPhone 6S where I did not update instagram yet it’s still there? I hope they’re not removing it and that it’s a bug

You'll never get a (meaningful) response here, either, unfortunately.
I think it's a bug as there are users on Insta that still have it, and quite a few that don't . The problem is defo with Insta tho- just gonna have to wait for them to sort it out 🤷♀️
