How can I use GIFs on the Messenger app?
When I open messenger and hit the * sign, I don’t have any gifs. Where are they?

Are you asking about Facebook Messenger, or Apple Messages App? In Messenger from Facebook, tap the emoji button, where you can then find Gifs. For the Apple Message app, tap the +, then More and you'll see #images, where Gifs can be searched.
