Apple Watch no longer updating weather/stocks when iPhone is on wifi

I have a Series 5 watch, and I use the Modular watchface that shows the weather and a stock. Ever since the last watchOS or IOS update (I'm not sure which), my watch no longer displays the weather or the stock, all are just showing bars. This happens when my iPhone (14 Pro) is on wifi, which is like 95% of the time. When my phone isn't on wifi (5G), the weather and stocks show up after a minute or so. As soon as I go back to wifi, it's just bars again. Everything else still shows up on my watch (alerts, SMS messages, app notifications, etc..).

This only started happening after the last update. It's been working flawlessly for years up to this point. I haven't changed phones in 18 months, and I haven't changed any settings. I've rebooted the phone and the watch multiple times, in various order, to no avail.
