Sd card not searchable in Finder

Hello fellow Apple users

When I run my SD card in my mac laptop and m2, when I go to the card and try searching something in it by using the search bar in the upper right hand corner, nothing shows up. It's completely blank.

This is incredibly frustrating as I have over 30 GB of stuff on it.

Mac mini, macOS 14.1

sd cards inserted in my 14" MacBook Pro do not show up in finder or desktop. If I restart with the card in place, it shows up and can be used normally until I remove it. I can then only find it by restarting my computer with it in place. Sd cards inserted in my 14"MacBook Pro with M1pro do not show up in finder or on the desktop. If I restart with the sd card in place it shows up in both. Restarting every time you need to read or write to an sd card is not an answer. Is my MacBook broken or is there an update somewhere that will fix this?

Macbook Pro M1 Max not recognizing SD cards unless I reboot each time a new card is inserted Does anyone know whats the problem with this? SD cards were showing up every time they were inserted in the sd reader but since about a month or so it doesn't mount them unless I reboot the computer. This is a pain in the ass since I'm a photographer and sometimes I do have 4 or 5 cards with wedding photos that I have to download and need to reboot the computer each time!!!!!

SD Card Disappears When I insert my SD card in my 2012 MacBook Pro I can usually find it in the sidebar of photos and download my photos. But it also has a tendency to disappear, either before I find it or after I download from it. It often does not appear on the desktop or Sidebar. How do I locate it when it is time to eject it.

This problem persists after trying to use Command + F too.
