Sd cards inserted in my 14"MacBook Pro with M1pro do not show up in finder or on the desktop. If I restart with the sd card in place it shows up in both. Restarting every time you need to read or write to an sd card is not an answer. Is my MacBook broken or is there an update somewhere that will fix this?

I'm running Monterey 12.5.1 but using cheap Micro Center cards. I may have a Sandisk around here somewhere to try. I use the sd cards in my 3d printer. If I plan what I'm doing carefully, I can get by restarting. (maybe I won't loose my file)

Several users including myself had same issue on iMac . Resolved with Monterey latest update and I also had to use a Sandisk card.
