Car play not working after 17.3.1 update

CarPlay is not working after 17.3.1 iPhone update. I tried the forget option to the reset up the CarPlay connection, however now the iPhone cannot find the car. This is an iPhone 15, and yes the cables work fine.

It is irrelevant the intent of the updates if the result is decreased functioning. Additionally, if you read my initial statement you would have identified my efforts in checking settings with car play. However, I will expand, I have followed additional tutorials on other sites (including apple) to solve this problem, and those tutorials include a number of different ways to address settings both on my vehicle and the iPhone to no avail. Now, when following the logic of events you will see a clear correlation between an update on the iPhone and a decrease in CarPlay functioning. So do you have anything else to offer?

This is really absurd! I have an Audi Q5 2022 model and this has been just serviced and checked by Audi’s own service centre. Which more “reputed dealer” can fix a problem for which only Apple is responsible? Apple is already bleeding customers for the iPhone and this apathy is definitely going to make it worse.

iOS updates generally aim to enhance user experience, boost security, and fix bugs rather than disrupt core features. CarPlay issues after updates might stem from underlying, unmentioned factors. Updates won't typically alter personal data but may refine settings or features. Backup before major updates for safety. Review Apple's update details and backup advice for a smooth process.

Kindly consider checking your settings and addressing any device issues before attributing the issue to external factors.
