Podcast plays same episode on specific channel only

I’m facing the same issue on one of my frequently listened channels. I think it’s an iOS 17.4 bug.

Same problem here. I try to delete and reinstall the app and it’s the same thing.

I’ve had the same issue for one week now, I tried to unsubscribe from the channel, it didn’t fix anything. Then I tried deleting the app, it worked… until I listened to another episode. So now I have to delete / reinstall the app every time I want to listen to an episode.

iPhone 11 Pro Max iOs 17.4.1

Could not test under iOS 17.4.1, but under macOS 14.4.1 the issue is still present.

Updating to 17.4.1 was not enough to fix it for me, but deleting and redownloading the podcasts app after the update did the trick.

still having this issue. I was able to temporarily fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app but then it just switches the episode that it will only play to whatever episode I listen to next. This is extremely annoying.

Same issue with the desktop app under 14.4.

No, it does not work for me.

My iOS is 17.4.1. I removed the podcast app, restarted the device, reinstalled the app. Walsh, it works initially, but eventually it plays the same episode no matter episode I choose in that channel.

it seems to be a cache memory issue. Spotify and KK Box does not have the same issue with that channel.
