iPhone won't play video that was just recorded

For the last few weeks, any video on my camera roll will not play. I can record a video and send it to other people, but it will not playback on my phone—same situation with anything downloaded. If I download a TikTok straight from the app, I can send it to others but it will not play on my phone. I can't even scrub through the videos -all I can see is the first initial frame. Everything is downloaded to iCloud correctly. Video plays on all my other devices normally and video airdropped from my phone to my mac plays normally as well.

Any help would be appreciated!
