Only one friend can’t see my location in Find My

Only one specific person can’t see my location in the Find My app but I can see his, and everyone else can see mine. We did every step correctly to share our locations so it shouldn’t be the problem. If i send him my location in iMessages he can’t see it either. But it’s working with my other friends. Could it be a software problem? We both have iOS 17.2.1

If it were an iOS issue as you suggest, then your assertion that 'everyone else can see mine' wouldn't hold true.
