Apple Watch still getting messages from a blocked contact that I blocked on my phone.

A few weeks ago. I blocked someone on my number through my phone. A couple days ago I was on my watch I noticed that the contact who I blocked was still messaging me. Spamming me. I went to go see on my phone if something was wrong but no. I still have that person blocked .

I’m at a loss on what to do. My watch is connected to my phone . My phone is up to date with all of the newest updates.

I don’t wanna be getting texts from this number . I want this to be resolved. I want this to be fixed . I don’t wanna be going into my watch and seeing their texts messages.

Watermelon551, Does the message also show up on your messages on iPhone too? If yes then try this;

iPhone:

From the Messages app, open the conversation, tap the contact at the top of the conversation. Tap the info button, scroll down, then tap Block this Caller.

iWatch:

Same thing, but scroll down to Details and click that.

using the Digital Button on iWatch scroll down until you see

Block Contact and Delete Contact.

Click on the Block Contact.

Were you able to resolve this? I’m having the same problem but still receiving messages on Apple Watch. I’ve done the mirror iPhone, reset iPhone and Apple Watch, and I tried blocking directly from my Apple Watch but the “detail” button on the iMessage conversation a “block” button does not appear. Pleas help!! I don’t want this number to see that I am still receiving their messages
