iOS 17.2.1 Podcast Issues

I listen to podcasts on the Apple podcast app. Ever since I updated the iOS, my podcasts will not load. Sometimes an episode starts to play a for a few seconds but it stops to load some more. Eventually I get the “try again later” message. I’m on iPhone SE second generation.

Apple Podcasts are slow or failing to load after iOS 17.4.1 update The Apple Podcast app isn’t loading quickly since the update and can often take several minutes for me to either enter a section on my Apple Podcasts app. It sometimes takes me quitting the app for the app to get either the download to become available or for it to delete. I have plenty of space on my phone for downloads. I am feeling very frustrated with the amount of time that it takes for Apple Podcasts to load. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How to fix Apple Podcasts app not playing or showing episodes on iPhone? Ive had some support from Apple to try to resolve this but it seems to be a wider problem. Unable to play a podcast unless downloaded, and episodes not appearing when i click on a show. It did not resolve with the latest update as they hoped, so please- lets hope something is gonna be done!! [Re-Titled by Moderator]

I'm having that issue, and today (1-19-24) new podcasts won't load at all on my iPhone.

If I try to listen to podcasts while the phone is charging, the phone heats up, pings and pongs. Its charging is also limited. iOS 17,2,1m , phone a 12 mini.
