Selfie camera on FaceTime staying big

when I’m on FaceTime with someone and I go off FaceTime onto a different app then return to FaceTime, my selfie camera preview stays big.

by stays big I mean it’s the same size as when you tap the screen and your camera goes bigger.

I know it’s nothing major, it is just off putting.
