Siri voice Reverting to american

I have an Ipad pro 11 inch, with my siri voice set to British voice 1, and every reset/reboot/update, my siri voice keeps resetting to american voice 2. Absolutely hate it. Anyone else having this issue? Is this a bug? Is there a fix?

American Siri voice cutting in and out Ever since iOS 16 came out, I've been having an issue where the American voices of Siri randomly cut out for a few words at a time when using the spoken content feature. It will keep reading but a few words will be left and replaced with silence here and there. It only seems to affect the spoken content feature and doesn't seem to come up when Siri reads text messages, gives directions, etc. It's not been a huge issue because the UK English voices work fine for some reason, but I do prefer some of the American voices, so I'd like to get that working if possible. So far, I've tried rebooting the phone and deleting and redownloading the voices but no luck. Does anyone know if there's any way to fix this or do I have to wait until Apple eventually notices the bug and patches it?

Me too on my iPhone and occasionally on my HomePods. Let’s see how many months/years this bug lasts.
