How to hide the list of Notes on the sidebar - Macbook

Hello

I use the Notes a lot but something I find annoying is that while open, I cannot hide the list of my most recent notes on the left of the Notes app.

I can hide the folders that my Notes are in but within the folder (e.g. Notes, or icloud) the list is always visible.

The issue is that when I 'm writing a new note, working with someone else side by side, they can see the list of my notes on the left and read the 1st and 2nd line of whatever I have written there, which might be a personal note. This is very annoying.

Another example is if I share screen on an online meeting or connect to a projector on an in-person presentation and I'm taking notes at the same time.

It would be so practical if there was an option to collapse / hide the list, as you can do at the moment with the folder list on Notes.

Show your notes in Gallery view instead of List view, then double click on the note you wish to work in.

You can also double click on the note in this List view, but this will open the note in a new window, which I find less desirable.
