iTunes has stopped syncing with outlook

About one week ago, iTunes stopped syncing iPhone 14 (both phones) contacts & calendars with Outlook (Office Pro 2016, PC, Win 11). Same symptoms--backup ok but "synching" display does not stop and no sync occurs.

I have the opposite problem: using iTunes for syncing Microsoft Outlook 2021 in my laptop (windows 11) with my iPhone 12 Pro (only calendar and contacts, nothing else!) demands 3-4 hours of backup before syncing is taking place. Annoying!
