Weird folders in my files app.

I found some weird folders in my files app. Idk what the r and they don’t do anything when I click in them. It re dates them. And it ust puts them as if that was the time they were created. ??? They won’t delete. Wth

Random unknown files keep reappearing Hello! I've had this problem for a long time, but have yet to figure out why it keeps happening. I'm pretty sure it was from some program or something I've downloaded in the past (I've downloaded a lot of things in the past couple years), but I can't figure out what, where, why. These files keep appearing under my "Downloads" folder. It'll be a whole slew of them with jibberish names. I'll delete them, and then they reappear within a day or so. They're all ".file" files. Is there a way to track down what 3rd party software could be doing this?

Random folders keep appearing on desktop I've asked this question before and I was told that it must be an app I have installed. This is a new computer. I don't have any apps other than what came with the computer. Every time I turn the computer on I get these folders that are labeled things like "af" "e2" "bd". This is getting extremely annoying and it's clear to me now that this is an apple issue as I've seen people complain on this forum about it and there have been no resolutions. The content of these folders is all the same. and it appears that they are items that should actually be on my desktop.

NSIRD_cloudpaird_xxxxx These files have started showing up in a Recovered Files" folder in my trash. Can anyone please tell me what they are, and what is causing them? Thanks.

I’ve been having the same issue. Been a problem with someone mirroring my phone or has it associated somehow with google. At one time there was android files in my analytics. Haven’t checked it for awhile but I’m pretty sure it hasn’t stopped.

What is the title of these files? Can you provide a screenshot of one of those file folders so that we can better be able to help you?
