NSIRD_cloudpaird_xxxxx

i just got a weird pop up saying:

Remove ".AU.1VUGB" from your Dropbox account and all devices?

If you move this folder to NSIRD_AUHelperService_khDap7, it won't be available in Dropbox or on any devices.

i can't find anything on the internet about this file type/name/thing - except that you mentioned the NSIRD thing above. the thing is, i also can't find any file with any part of this in the name anywhere on my computer or in my dropbox. i don't know what caused the popup either - i feel like i blinked and it was there. since this is the only thing that had NSIRD in it, i figured, might as well toss this data here!

i dunno - maybe this is some kind of audacity recovery file? but if so, it's not showing up in the trash and it doesn't come up in a search, so - weird!

I had a similar problem. Haven taken many screenshots that landed on the desktop, suddenly , Out of nowhere my screen shots are being sent to NSRID..... a huge long trail of folders under /var. Have also recently had a weird request from zoom to film my zoom session, which I said no to. bizarre.

I have a similar issue. A folder called "NSIRD_Sparkle_NQGfQ4" appeared a .temporary folder and it contained my chatgpt.app which would no longer launch. I had to reinstall it.
