Help!! Malware warning: "___ will damage your computer. You should move it to the Bin."

I have a constant warning saying " npd will damage your computer. You should move it to the Bin."

It appears constantly and is extremely disruptive. Based on this community article, I have followed the instructions and am hoping that someone can help me resolve this.

Attached is a screenshot of the warnings:

Clicking 'Move to Bin' does nothing and cancelling it only makes it disappear for less than a minute.

Here are screenshots of the contents of the 3 separate folders (~/Library/LaunchAgents, /Library/LaunchDaemons & /Library/LaunchAgents).

Based on the warning, I assumed it would be the file causing this issue would be the 'com.nbp.plist' file in the first screenshot. I have tried deleting this and emptying the bin but the warning has not stopped.

This is seriously affecting my ability to work, if anyone could help me out that would be amazing!

First, start your Mac in "Safe Mode": How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support. Starting in Safe Mode takes longer than usual so let it finish.

While in that mode, drag all the files in those three folders to the Trash except those with the following in their names:

Adobe

Google

Grammarly

Microsoft

Oracle

Teamviewer

Zoom

Those are ok. Leave them in place. When you are finished those are the only files that should remain in those folders.

Then, restart your Mac normally and confirm the alert messages cease to appear.
