My new Apple Watch won’t charge and has red lightning bolt when I plug it in.

My new Apple Watch won’t charge and has red lightning bolt when I plug it in. Still there this morning. I’m using the Apple magnetic charging cable with an adapter for C USB on my USB charging station.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15

Now it has red lightning bolt red lightning bolt changes to a red lightning bolt inside a ring. I plugged it into my new MacBook book air which has the right C USB port.

new question: what charging outlet, with correct wattage, do I need to buy for my new Apple Watch?
